Now McDonald's Australia has introduced a grown up version of the nostalgic meal including a 1990's toy.
It launches just in time for Valentine's Day with the meals hitting Australian stores from February 14.
An adult happy meal includes a McNugget Buddy toy, fries, a drink and a choice between 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac burger.
The reimagined McNugget Buddy toys were designed by US streetwear icon, DJ and comedian Kerwin Frost and each box includes a collectors trading card.
"I've loved McDonald's since I was a kid. I even had my own Ronald McDonald doll that I brought to picture day at school, and it was my dream to collect all the McNugget Buddies," Mr Frost said.

"Now, coming up with my own special set of Buddies - each one representing different aspects of self-expression - it's unreal, a dream come true," he said.
McNugget Buddies were first introduced to Australia in 1998 as glow-in-the-dark happy meal toys with interchangeable clothes and accessories.
