Priced from $328,607 before on-road costs, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV's sticker is higher than the $328,400 list price the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 debuted with in 2021.
It's also almost $134,000 more than the Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 SUV, which currently serves as the only offering of the nameplate in Australia and starts from $194,900 before on-road costs.
So what extra equipment do you get for the price of an EQE? In short, a lot.
More power, more torque, greater driving range and a plethora of luxury-focused features are fitted to Maybach's EQS SUV, as is to be expected from the luxury arm of Mercedes.

Mercedes-Benz Australia is yet to detail service pricing and intervals for the Maybach EQS 680 SUV.
It's also yet to announce warranty coverage, though the EQS is backed by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty which extends to a 10-year, 250,000 warranty for the high-voltage battery.
Safety
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV has yet to be tested by ANCAP or Euro NCAP.
Mercedes hasn't detailed the safety equipment it is fitted with, though the less expensive EQS 450 4Matic SUV comes with the following:
